He did however say that they love recruiting students from BYU because they are typically more ok with leaving Utah (he might have mentioned especially students and spouses who are not from Utah) for work.

We didn't take the offer because of the significant amount of travel involved and the relocation. My wife said it is fine if we relocate, but if I have to travel 2 weeks out of every month then she wants to be able to live by family and that couldn't be guaranteed. We also had other options.
