basically their record before Heaps was dismal, so there wasn't much pressure to win. He was handed the starting job and a quarterback guru would coach him. Unfortunately, the decision in retrospect was poor because the Oline is worse than BYU's. They don't have much in the way of playmakers and they play against Big 12 competition.
