With all due respect, toughen up man. Your wife has no choice but to be in the

room getting pricked with needles and pushing a baby out of her. The least you can do is be by her side. If you really just can't watch it, then at least pull up a chair by her head and hold her hand. Just look at her face.

Maybe I am off base here, maybe you really will pass out just by being in the room (but if you're avoiding watching the actual birth, I have no idea how that would happen).
