This is all just personal opinion. I think Bronco is done in the next 2-3 seasons. Whether by deciding he's had his fill and "retires" or moves on to another program.
Possible HC Candidates in no particular order.
ROBERT ANAE: Not sure I'm a fan of this, but like it or not when the time comes he's going to be strongly considered. Remember back when Bronco was first hired that Holmoe sought Anae out and hired him before Bronco was the HC.
NICK HOWELL: Bronco clone. The guy Bronco is grooming. See how he does for the first time calling the defense. If he continues to keep BYU ranked high defensively, he WILL be a serious candidate.
KALANI SITAKE: Despite what some might think he is still a BYU guy at heart. Not in the way a Roderick or Whittingham aren't. If he's offered a HC position at BYU he'll leave in a heartbeat. He's a future HC somewhere. My guess though is that Norm Chow gets fired at Hawaii after this season and they'll come hard for Kalani over there.
KYLE WHITTINGHAM: His seat is warm, not hot. If by chance he were available when/if Bronco leaves then don't fool yourself he'll be a serious candidate. If Utah ever jettisoned him he'll be on the unemployment line for a very short time.
Andy Reid has no interest in coaching college and playing the recruiting game so I won't count him.
