I give my cell number to those I want to have it. I give my google voice number for everything else. I set up my Google voice number to to not even ring my cell when someone calls my GV number. They have to leave me a message which goes to my email and I return it if and when I want to. If they don't leave a message, I don't need to even need to know they called.
