FYI- the PAC 12 is not exactly the SEC.
And since when did the preseason polls mean jack, especially for a BYU fan. I can't tell you how many times I watched BYU not ranked preseason or under ranked just to have ranked teams at the end of the season. And how many preseason top 10s weren't ranked at the end. If you think BYU goes 6-6 or 5-7 with this schedule then you might as well concede that BYU would be a perennial 3-8 SEC team. (Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Miss. St., BYU?) Granted conferences generally go up and down with time- but the PAC 12 over the past several years has usually been a 2-3 "good" team league per year, but not a juggernaut conference by any stretch. Yes there was USOCal with Bush (but weren't those championships forfeited) and some good Oregon and Stanford teams over the past 5-10 years, but that's about it. I fail to see this year being any different. Also, when was Michigan last considered an elite caliber team? My opinion.
