BYU has never, in the history of the school, played a schedule like that with
that many tough games in a row. You don't have what you're used to with an easy team or weak team prior to a tough one. What that does is challenge your depth and I doubt BYU has Pac 12 caliber depth. Boise St. and the prior Utah teams could get up for one or two big games a year but the weekly grind of that caliber of team wears you down. It takes more than a good starting 22. One of the reasons Utah and TCU have struggled the first several years after stepping up in competition.
