I think that was his problem at Utah.
He was not quick enough to get around the corner and would dance too much before hitting holes up the middle. His CFB skills translate to a north south runner, but he's not good at picking the hole up right away. He is not quick enough to out-run P-5 linebackers around the edge. I never saw him in HS, but that is what I saw in college.

He was also a bit of a fumbler and was terrible at picking up blitzes (according to Whit).

Personally, I think he might be best suited for tight end, even though he might be a little short for that position.
