Ok so we actually don't have a good shot anymore with West. Pretty sure he's set on Arkansas. But Brandon Rice really likes BYU. He's got a long way to go and will be the man his senior year, but I think he'll remember that BYU came early. We at least have a shot. It helps that those guys have had an LDS teammate selling BYU as a good place. Be nice to land one in 2015 and then one in 2016.

Braeden West is a good RB and he really likes BYU. He knows he can still pick up interest, but he seems very high on BYU and likes that BYU offered first. His recruitment could blow up. Baylor, Houston, and OreSU are a few interested right now. I think he's one of those guys who is going to get a ton more attention once this football season starts, and he was noted as one of the most impressive players at a tournament last weekend.

If we land one or two this year, and/or one or two next year, we'll be ok. Lots of good guys we're looking at and coaches will continue to hit it hard to find a replacement for Jamaal. You can tell they're also looking for more backs like him, not 250 lb RBs. We'll see.
