Yeah, Ziggy did great in the NFL as well.
At least from what I saw. I think with him it was more than just his freak physical ability; he grasped it pretty quickly.

It seems weird to me that there is talk of Langi switching to LB. BYU gets high

Because he has serious pro potential at LB
viper

except he's not played any defensive position since preschool

Defensive End is a much easier position to pick up than ILB.

true, although Ziggy showed a remarkable intuition for

he played rb though, which means he knows exactly what offenses do and

Yeah. He didn't play defense at bingham.

He's never played LB. Body type is not necessarily indicative of "pro potential"

True, but he is a blue chip athlete that was already a bit big for RB, and has

Lets not get carried away. He's a 4.6 kid at 220-230.

And the fasted ILB 40 at the combine was 4.66. KVN was 4.71

Before the combines, KVN was a 4.5-4.6 guy, though. We'll see on Langi.

BYU is going to be unstoppable on offense. UNSTOPPABLE!!!!

To be honest, though, there do seem to be a lot of similarities between this

agreed. We should pull our punter's scholarship, we won't use him at all.

Because he's bigger than he was pre-mission

Eventual paycheck, perhaps. But you have a point.

Bronco lets his players choose where they prefer to play initially

I kind of disagree with you on Langi's skill set

I think that was his problem at Utah.

Word is that he runs too upright to be an effective RB. Also, weight gain
Stringer Bell
7/29/14 11:30am
I believe he has also shown interest in switching to defense.

When it comes to D, in Bronco I trust.

We'll land RBs. Don't worry. And they probably won't be 6'2+ 250+.

I'm worried. Cedric Dale was BYU's 3rd option and they couldn't even get him

We've offered a bunch of RBs, will continue to offer RBs for 2016

Langi isn't going to break through the two deep at BYU, he didn't at Utah.

In fairness, maybe this is a Utah development problem

Could be, although I think he had the problem coming out of HS...

not to mention that it's not like he was a jr or sr. sometimes it takes time
