Answering this question as framed doesn't require thought, unless you are a
sociopath. You obviously don't take the life of the child where the risk to your own life is approaching zero. It's an interesting though experiment only in so far as it shows that everyone recognizes the real conflict between Israel and Palestine is infinitely more complex than the hypothetical posted.
