Answering this question as framed doesn't require thought, unless you are a sociopath. You are obviously morally responsible for the death of the child where the risk to your own life is approaching zero. It's an interesting thought experiment only in so far as it shows that everyone recognizes the real conflict between Israel and Palestine is infinitely more complex, and the morality of the situation more convoluted than the hypothetical posted.
