I had the epiphany this morning that the name Redskin is not racist nor
discriminary in any way. It only becomes so when people treat others bad/different because of their skin color.

The truth is that Native Americans (or Indians) actually have skin that kind of has a reddish hue to it. What is wrong with describing things as they are? Nothing.

Also, we are talking about a mascot. A mascot is chosen for sports teams because it is thought to make them appear more imposing, or intimidating to the opponent. IT SHOULD BE SEEN AS AN HONOR to be the mascot. Someone has thought you command respect from others. Someone believes that by parading you around, it will make them stronger and people can rally around you for identity and pride/self-respect.
