The issue of the OP is quite simple and folks don't seem to get it
the issue isn't what the coverage costs. The issue is what the coverage today costs in relation to the cost prior to the ACA.
The overarching point is one of the promises Obama made to the American public is the ACA would decrease premiums. That is clearly not the case for many, maybe even the majority of Americans
