If BYU had a viable path to the NY6 with an undefeated or 1 loss season, then being Independent for a protracted period is a very viable course to take. (of course, hoping that we eventually get a Big 12 invite)
I have yet to see a single media source that expresses this point of view. In fact, the review of BYU's status as an independent is fairly grim due to the shifts in the college football landscape.
Can any of you produce an article (not produced by a blue-goggled BYU homer) that says otherwise?
