But based on the original LiveCoug post if we are 3rd in the committees poll
or list however you want to frame that then we are in the playoffs as the #3 seed. That is a guarantee.
It is also true that if a team is #3 in the AP or Coaches that it does not guarantee that they would also be #3 in the committee's poll. Just like it was no guarantee that they'd be #3 in both the AP & Coaches or Harris poll in the past.
In the future we'll only be talking about the committee's ranking after that comes out. Just like in the past they used to use the AP ranking until the first BCS poll came out and then they'd start to list that next to their names on the ticker the rest of the year....
