because you can't be serious about a team with a brand new coaching staff, learning a new offense and a new defense, with a new starting QB, that was ranked close to 100 or better last season on both offense and defense while playing teams like Memphis, Buffalo, Towson St, Temple, etc is going to pose any real threat to BYU?
