Adding West Virginia was very short-sighted and doesn't add much to the conference. They might be a better football team at this point but they don't add much in the way of TV revenue and are far from the other schools.

UNLV adds a much bigger TV market (Las Vegas has a bigger population than the whole state of WV), a very strong basketball team, a destination location, and a bowl game site.

Adding the schools I've listed could also allow the conference bring back the Southwest Conference name which would be cool IMO.
