The turning point in the rivalry is Utah not scheduling BYU for the next two

years.

The nature of the rivalry will change and become more distant.

Further, the Ute fans that incessantly seethe about BYU are going to have much less to do and their interest in Utah will become more casual as a result.

Might begin to see a few more empty seats at RES.
