I didn't do any trash talking to any individual, though I did help with the chants. I loved that banter, that was a lot of fun.

The "West Coast Conference" chant was hilarious. The MUSS chanted "West Coast Conference" at us first, obviously trying to make fun of it. We responded by chanting it with them, celebrating it. I thought that was a very clever comeback.

Yes, there was taunting going back and forth between some people at the front and Ute fans at the back. That's harmless IMHO. I don't mind the banter... and the chanting back and forth was a lot of fun.

90% of Ute fans are like you and classy. But you guys never have seen the 10% get in our face. They are disgusting. I read Max Hall's apology before and I didn't believe his family was that mistreated. Now having been to three games at the U, I know it's true because it's happened to me as well.

I wish it wasn't true. I want the rivalry to be more civil, but still fun. Unfortunately, Ute fans have bitterness pent up from mistreatment from "peter priesthoods" their entire lives, and they take that anger out on BYU fans. It's misplaced, and it's over the top.
