Haha. Reading comprehension, my friend.
I don't know how to clarify the issue for you more. As I stated earlier, 'you are referencing an extremely rare event,' as in a pain crisis. I then quoted the high prevalence (so not a new introduced concept) of sickle cell trait, to show that its virtually a non-issue given, millions of people have the trait and most people don't even know that they have it, including athletes.

It seems like a fair assessment given what we know about sickle cell trait. You are right, in one respect. If in fact the coach does know that he has players with sickle 'trait' then its likely they have had previous problems because its not routinely screened. I was really speaking in generalities and may have made the false assumption that he had confused sickle cell trait with disease.

As to the rest of what you said, I can't comment because you are making pretty ridiculous accusations of what I was saying when I clearly never said anything of the sort. I'd say go back and read my original statement that you felt the need to correct. Again, my original statement was 'Athletes with sickle cell trait should have no problem in provo.'

Regardless, it is worth noting that I laughed forever concerning your accusation of pettiness. It clearly is a strength of yours considering your incessant need to comment on my posts. You seem like a good guy but over eager to prove your intelligence. Pump your brakes next time. We are all friends here.
