not apples to apples because for cable the service is the same or better, not so
for tickets where you get a lower quality service (nosebleeds) for the new customer, and you get it for a single game (uncertainty going forward/could be sellouts or much higher prices).

Cable/satellite customers will give the new customers better prices and better service (free movie channels for 6 months etc), it would be like getting the $10 ticket and bumping the season ticket holders up to the nosebleeds.
