I got a used car and so didn't realize the gauge was not accurate... got to what appeared to be 1/8th or so left on the gauge and ran out.
I didn't know what was wrong at first... but was glad that that was the only issue.
Now that I know it won't happen again...
The gauge stays at Full for a long time, then slowly moves to half a tank. Below half you can almost watch it drop as you drive... then at about 1/8 left you are actually empty... Can't complain much... got the car for $100...
