I had to remember to fill the car up every 300 miles or so. One day, I literally felt the car sputter as I pulled into a parking stall at work. I looked at the odometer, and I'd gone 370 miles. I had a little gas can in the trunk that my sister had left in there from when she owned the car, and there was a gas station across the street.
