This has come from a few UVA fans, but have not heard one player make such a comment? Did BYU defenders go after anyone's knees? Were there a bunch of late hits that weren't called? I saw missed calls on both teams, but did not really see any "dirty play." I did see some trash talking, but I saw only a few isolated players doing it for both teams. There was some extra-curricular pushing and shoving after a few plays, but again I saw from the stands, and in most cases the person that was flagged was called for the retaliation. Certainly that was not in every case, but it did happen.
