How many of them get called on to cover HS football, Pro games, MLB, HS girls fall sports...

How many are beat reporters for a specific team and will be traveling Friday night to be at an away Saturday game for the team they are primarily paid to follow and report on.

As far as I know AP poll voters are not compensated for being a voter. They would need to put that which puts bread on the table as a priority...

That said - I see 3 out of these next 4 games being prime-time (literally?) for these folks to catch part of our games. Close games are not preferred....need to solidify an impression for however many minutes/quarters we get them watching the games....and almost all of them will catch some of these 3 (Thur/Fri) games....
