BYU is nowhere close to the quality of an Ivy League School
In my experience the students at Ivy League schools are a bit sharper and usually better read and travelled. Also BYU can never be like an Ivy unless they improve programs and teaching to match the level of their students. I was impressed by my BYU expereince and a lot of the students I went to BYU with. As far as professors go at BYU, I was dissappointed in more than half. Not only were they not the best teachers, they had degrees from crap universities and didn't have impressive publishing. At Ivys even is your teacher is bad, he/she is an expert and a genius.
