It probably makes a difference when you went to BYU and what you studied

The majority of my professors were excellent, had degrees from Ivy league schools and were legit experts in their fields; ie very well published and editors of respected journals.

That's beside the point that at most schools the professors don't teach, grad assistants or TAs do.
