I acknowledged the meaninglessness of my statement and pointed out that the other guy didn't do the same. Or in terms you might understand, I was making fun of his trust in his own anecdotal evidence while deriding mine at the same time. I fully realized from the beginning that both pieces of anecdotal evidence are useless, I just wanted to prove my point that such evidence is useless.
