You may not know it... but you have just perfectly described the type of person Bronco loves.... generally dispassionate, "fully invested" during games only...balanced to perfection people (I dare not call them "fans") that can leave the game alone when it is over. When the "program" is not playing during an actual football game, turn the channel and keep your nose out BYU football....

Bronco loathes the typical type of passionate, "out of balance" fan who frequents CB (not you of course)... You pounced on the reason I think he stopped taking calls after games.... he doesn't "really care about" post game fans.... why would he want to listen to fans call in and express their worthless opinions, especially, as you so wisely and profoundly pointed out, to a bunch of idiot fans that he already doesn't want to know what they think.

Unfortunately for Bronco...(an I think for your type as well) he will never understand the true culture and necessity of what makes successful programs. It isn't 8-5 records.... its the ever so important folks just like proudcugr....who truly do "invest" in their team... because of that same love, ownership, and passion you and Bronco undermine....

Your comment that Bronco is a coach "who don't know you and don't really care about you" is really at the crux of this whole topic don't you think?

Unfortunately for many of us... LaVell Edwards at least gave us the perception that he understood our passion for this game, and he gave back to the fans his whole career. Bronco, who is the antithesis of Edwards... has done a masterful job of reminding us that BYU football is just a TV program waiting to be turned when something better comes along....
