Everyone seems to think that we've never done it before in basketball and since we have in football the expectations are higher. We've done it in both. And both were a long time ago. Basketball has had more "amazing" success recently and seems poised to do so again.

There are really 2 reasons Rose is seen more positively in the eyes of fans. I won't say he get's a pass, because he has earned his reputation. The first reason is that the program is trending up under Rose, and second reason is that he has had some excellent seasons recently. We cannot say either of those about Bronco and the football team, only fantastic disappointments.
