I agree with a lot of what you say. But...

...I've never really believed that BYU football was some beastly program to manage.

The scholarship spreadsheets are more complicated because of missions, but otherwise I think BYU has a ton of natural advantages for a coach to enjoy.

That Crowton failed says more about him than about BYU.
