That's true - Lavell did not throw anyone under the bus
but I did hear him say that he personally pushed to have Crowton hired. That's a little more than just supporting him after the hire. And after year one it seemed that Crowton was the answer to all our prayers. Just like this season, if our QB and RB stay healthy we have an awesome season.
In a sense I feel bad for Crowton because not only did he follow a legend, but I think the player cupboard was a little bare for 3 or 4 years.
