You misunderstand...

The child throwing the tantrum does not necessarily mean one individual...it can be a collection of individuals...but it is still rewarding the bad behavior...or at least it gives the appearance of rewarding the bad behavior. Even if Sitake gets hired has nothing to do with Derik and others...the mainstream public could construe it to be because of Derik and other similar minded individuals.
