Hate to harp, but it really was weird (not to mention a huge bummer). I've never seen a team so dead in an atmosphere that should have had them fired up, and ready to play ball.

I've cracked on Bronco Stadium, and the relative smallness of it, for years. I've rolled my eyes when Bronco fans talk about their game day crowd and home field advantage. Not after that though. It's a legit D-1 atmosphere in Boise--the stadium holds the noise far better than LES, and the fans are way into the games. More of a football vs. the FHE type of crowd we sometimes attract in Provo.

Nothing I saw, other than following a couple rally points from JSwagg and Atuaia, resembled a team that was amped up to go to war. You can argue as to where the leadership should have been coming from I suppose, but I will tell you it was hard to find much on the Cougar sideline apart from the individuals I've mentioned.
