I wasn't listening to any post-game reports, etc., but it looked as though Juergens the KR just got killed on the play in which he was injured. He came off the field, and gave the look as he was being tended to on the sideline, as one who'd been in a car wreck.

Another instance of Bronco putting players in positions where the heart may be willing but the physical capabilities aren't there? Juergens just looked far too small to be running with a head of steam at the opposing kickoff team.

The fact that BSU's coverage was vastly more physical and effective than our KR blocking didn't help Juergens' chances either. I'm afraid he was doomed from the start. He did make a nice defensive play on kickoff coverage though before getting hurt.
