to land Texas, Texas Tech and the Oklahoma schools. If that had happened, there is a great chance that the following would have ended up in a conference together:

BYU
Utah
TCU
Boise St
Baylor
Kansas st
Kansas
Iowa St

I think that conference would have a significantly powerful argument for inclusion
