And his problems were crazy and chaotic. The problem is today is that we could be a lot better than we are, even with all the injuries which have been managed well, if Bronco would just hire better.

I'm all for Bronco staying on at BYU until the end of his contract... but I'm done with supporting him from a personnel decision maker. That is, in my opinion, where the problem lies. It's where the problems were with Hill, Doman... he goes off and rehires Anae to run a completely different system than what he did before and then promotes someone that wouldn't be coaching on any other FBS roster. These are the coaches that matter, because they spend most if not all of the time with the players... when you have a bad assistant coach/coordinator... you get discipline issues, unorganization problems, lack of preparedness... Bronco has made a very bad habit out of letting BYU be the 1 stop shop for those that want to get into coaching for the first time... and that is where I honestly believe our problems lie. NOBODY is wanting our coaches... NOBODY is banging on our door wanting to speak to our coaches to promote to a higher position at another college. And there is a reason for that... cause they aren't very good.

Howell has no business being on the BYU sidelines... his defense is as bad as anything Crowton put on the field offensively. It's a mess and teams have figured it out within 2 games and our defense has been picked apart... and it's not due to a lack of talent either.
