.Why would Kalani leave Utah to be DC at BYU
It is not a lateral move but a step down for Kalani. The BYU program will not be relevant until they get into a P5 conference. If Kalani came to BYU he still would not be able to recruit the players needed because the players have nothing to play for after one loss. Even teams like Marshall with 0 loses and CSU with 1 loss is not ranked in the play off top 25 yet Utah is with 3 loses.
