Maybe Kalani can make a difference to BYU but maybe he can't.

Keep in mind at Utah Kalani's recruiting includes kids with lower academics (wouldn't qualify at BYU or even other PAC 10 1/2 schools) and come with baggage as there is no honor code to contend with. If BYU could recruit the same caliber of player as Kalani can today, this board wouldn't have to keep bringing up Kalani's name.

Reality is that BYU wouldn't accept some of Kalani's recruits and they wouldn't accept BYU. So for those who think that Kalani could come in and make a big difference, you might want to re-think it.

I mentioned it before on this board. I reviewed an applicant's resume for a position at my company. I declined to interview him because despite graduating from the U and being a football player, he couldn't spell his major correctly on the cover page or his resume. By the way, the cover page might as well been completed in crayon.
