It's not one game. If BYU loses to USU, it means a whole lot of things besides we lost one game. It means the team has regressed compared to its major rivals. It means the team is not capable of beating, consistently, a middle-of-the-pack MWC team, something BYU did do a few years back. It will mean two straight lackluster seasons, declining attendance, drying-up donations.

A BYU team that loses to USU means a lot more - a LOT more - than coming up short in one game. You keep reading my prediction as saying Bronco will be let go BECAUSE of the loss to USU. But that is something I never said, and don't think.
