The oldest 3 were 14, but my 15 year old has declined the offer. He knows he can have one whenever he wants to, but he is completely focused on school and swimming and simply has no desire for a phone. Several of his friends don't have them either and it's not been an issue at all. His younger sister turns 14 in February, and I'm pretty sure she's not going to be so eager to wait.
