Went to jdawgs for the first time in a while last night
I remember the first time I went at the original place just south of campus. $3 for a hot dog or polish, $1 for a bag of chips and/or $1 for a soda. I would have put the value for a $5 combo at "good". Pretty expensive for a hot dog and a skimpy bag of chips, but the overall taste and experience made up for it. I went there several times with my boys before basketball games.
Later, we decided to try the new Orem location. By this time, the price of the dog had climbed to $4. $6 for a combo made me think twice, but for an occasional fix before games I could do that.
Last night, we went to the new Lehi/Thanksgiving point location. $4 dog. $2 soda. $1 chips. $7 for the combo. That's too rich for my blood. We won't be going back any time soon.
