I've always noted that Dave Rose gets a pass here for losses that would have
many screaming for Bronco's head.
My theory is it's all because Dave has better PR skills than Bronco and is a cancer survivor, the latter which causes some folks to pull their punches out of compassion.
FTR, I fully support Dave Rose and want him to remain as BYU's coach as long as he wants the job. But it is clear that just as in football, BYU basketball is stuck in a rut right now.
If you blame Bronco for poor performances in football, then you should blame Dave Rose for the poor performances in basketball.
