This thread is fairly comprehensive and enough has been said. One final thought is that there has been significant player development in PG since 2013 - then is not now and the decision then to offer him a scholarship or not had nothing to do with the fact that he was not a 5 star recruit at the time. He was not and BYU's decision at that time was not on that basis.
