Either the MWC or AAC will breakthrough and gain respect to where they are considered more like a P5 conference than a G5 conference. With much larger TV deals, invitations to better bowls, better recruits etc. If one of these conferences represent the G5 schools in the next few years it will have a major impact on the conference landscape. This will be especially important if it isn't the same school representing the conference every year.

SDSU to Big XII isn't happening. San Diego is notoriously bad at supporting sports teams. They are completely overshadowed in the Southern California market. The Chargers threaten to leave seemingly every year, the Padres filled a whopping 64% of capacity during home games.
