Your right it could be a barrier However, conferences and schools want exposure
BYUTV has proven it can deliver exposure across the globe.
Some might say well what about the LHN. BYUTV is on a different platform with it's programing. BYUTV unlike the LHN never intended to show high school games. This was one of the major drawbacks regarding the LHN and the Big12. They felt and rightfully so, by the LHN showing high school games, it would be an unfair advantage.
Dave and Blaine are proven professional announcers and have shown they can be neutral while calling games.
Like my friend said, people in the Big12 have been monitoring BYUTV for sometime now and can see the pros far out weight the cons.
