Based on my kids grades in school, I am starting to believe that there is
mass grade inflation among the country's schools. It makes some sense if you think about it. Schools want their kids to attend college, and they get rated to some extent on how many kids they get into college. If the school pumps out unnecessarily high grade individuals, they can push any lack of learning onto the colleges to deal with - meanwhile, they get to say they sent X number of people to college.

My expectation is that the average gpa of all college entrants is going up around the country, except at the U.
