...nothing on the coaches as much as just the way the cookie crumbles due to the impact of social media, kids expecting to play right away or with entitlement issues, etc. I think the days of having a QB cupboard full of plug and play pieces is over. I think back to my last year at BYU and we had a ton of injuries and churned through quite a few QB's that year (John Walsh, Ryan Hancock, etc). Iirc I think we got down to our 4th stringer, Tom Young, in the bowl game.
