I wish we'd have done it in 96 or 97 after the Big12/Ann Richards snub.
I'd LOVE not to have spoonfed 7 MWC mouths for a decade only to have them screw us over as bad as they could. I'd have been just fine watching them rot.
That would have given us a few years of stability with LaVell at the helm, and potentially positioned us better to have been included in the big reorg.
